So Much for "Renewed Vigor"

In my last post I said I was back, with renewed vigor...meh.

So, why am I updating at 2:33 pm on Aug. 25 in St. Charles? Very simple: the college kids told me to. And you have to do what college kids say, or they'll trip you on the sidewalk, tear your backpack off your back, throw your books into a puddle, step on you, force you to swallow roofies. True story. Darn college kids...frazzle-tazzle-gran-drazzle-varmint college kids (my best yosemite sam impression).

So, the time has come and they have gone. And Ryan's alone in Schaumburg. What's really weird is to hear about all of your lives and then to think "my god, what's going on here...why do i have no idea what they're talking about?"

Then, when I read your away messages, I think "they're online...they have away messages, which means they're away from the computer...but usually, they're away from the computer and still in Schaumburg." It's just very weird to think "oh, Shane's away message...but wait, Shane's in Northern Illinois" (bad example)...more like "hey, it's christy's/tim's away message, but christy/tim is in Ohio/Maryland."

You know what I'm saying?

Who cares if you know what I'm saying...you're all in college with much better things to do than read my blog.

I know what you're all doing. You're holding on to your former lives by reading my blog, eh? You're using Ryan as a link to what you used to be a part of. WELL STOP IT!!! Ryan Morton won't be pushed around by the likes of you. You don't need him, and he doesn't need you.

Well, that's about as random as you get. By all means, keep reading my blog. Mind you, in three weeks, you'll have no idea what i'm talking about (as if you do now) cuz i won't be in Schaumburg anyway.

My next blog, I"m going to write an "Ode to Schaumburg." Oh, that'll be fun. Stay tuned for that.

What am I saying...I don't know anything about Schaumburg. I'm an antisocialite.

Let's make that an "Ode to Schaumburg High School."

You may not want to stay tuned now.

8/25 = Cubs are in a rain delay...stupid rain delays...There's only one good delay that I know of (Joe, you know where I'm going with this) and it's a Tom DeLay.

Random Factoid: My computer PC at work is made by AOpen, and my monitor and keyboard are from Digital. How crappy is that?

Pip pip.

I'M BACK!!!

With renewed vigor.

Who cares who knows my blog exists. I've missed talking to you guys, telling you about my worthless days and giving you insight into stupid topics that nobody cares about.

So I'm here again, to stay. I figure, I like being the fourth best blogger I know, and there's no way I'm going to beat Shane or Kate (or Katie or Katherine or KP or whatever she chooses to call herself in college), so I'm going to keep my number 4 title.

My original goal was to beat Joe. I believe I have outnumbered him, in this time frame, 44-7, so he has some catching up to do. Then there's Dann, who I probably beat 18 to 6. And of course Christy, which might have been a 44-1 victory. As for Shane, something like a 44-1,239,887, or thereabouts.

Enough history and stats.

I'm blogging from work for the first time. What that means is that I can finally see graphics on the Blogger Website. Totally Radical, Man. All sorts of stuf I didn't know existed, like bullets/and/numbering, justified text, different font colors, and even block quotes. Stellar. I'm going to justify everything now (the journalist/lawyer in me LOVES to justify).

What's new on my front? Who cares, I still have a long time before I leave for college. What about YOU? You college freshmen leaving in a week or two. Or you underclassmen returning to school. Please don't lose touch...my e-mail is r-morton@northwestern.edu. I check it very often, probaby even more than once a month once I get to college.

I'm getting a little teary eyed...actually, why should I...I never liked you guys anyway...screw you...I get to make better, more awesomer friends in college

Ah, would this be a good time for "Listen to Ryan's Pathetic Childhood?" Nah, I rarely (3 out of 44 posts) use this blog for complaining purposes. So why change now?

I think that's good enough for a return. I'll give you a good random post next time.

8/8/04 = Cubs lost 6-3. I'm not exactly sure how, cuz I fell asleep, but I know Kerry Wood picked up the loss against the Giants.

Random Factoid: There are 15 kids from the Tri-City Area participating on Olympic Development Program State Teams in Illinois. For more information, see an article by a talented young writer for the Daily Herald.

Pip Pip.
