Watch Out: Two days in a row

I just thought it was my obligation to keep you updated on events.

Theatrical events.

So, we did not run every alternate ending today like we were going to....however, the director chose me anyway for the kissing scene. So it wasn't three girls today, but it was one.

Refresher: the musical has the audience select different scenarios, this one being two lovers.

Refresher 2: I've never kissed a girl (or a boy, technically speaking...one person reading this understands) on the lips before....ever.

So, we sang our song. We gazed into each others eyes in an acting fashion. The cast behind us kept murmoring loudly "kiss...kiss...kiss". And the director said "alright, just a little peck."

First of all, smart director...ease into these things. She doesn't know it's my first kiss (nor does anyone in the cast) but she knows kisses on stage can be awkward.

So I smiled at the girl, leaned in, and she leaned forward and pecked me on the lips.

That was that.

So i still haven't gotten my first kiss.

But that's the first time a girl's lips have touched mine.

I of course have no romantic feelings for this girl; actually don't care for her.

But the peck has made me much less worried about the actual kiss.

All those friends who said don't fret over it (fret was my own word choice), you were right. It'll actually be fun, perhaps, but not likely, tomorrow.

Random Factoid: Bill Clinton's autobiography is titled My Life. We heard all about it in Poli Sci today.

Pip pip.

The first kiss is always the most memorable kiss because you share it with somebody important to you. On the other hand, I've heard a lot of people say that they dodn't want to remember their first kiss. They said they were too traumatised (is that even possible?) by their first kiss. They didn't know how to kiss, and it caused them to (act and) feel awkward.

Hi there Ryan,
Just to give you a heads up, you're probably going to get some more comments on this post: Watch Out: Two days in a row. I found you when I was out looking for the latest info about making out french kissing products, and even though this doesn't relate to making out french kissing, I still had to stop and tell you that you're doing a great job. You're about to get some visits from my brother and sister. I told them about your blog so I hope you don't mind.

Ryan, what are we going to do...? I'm not sure about you but it's getting harder and harder to enjoy my blog because of all the spam it's getting attacked with. You may be having a similar problem... I enjoy my normal site about french kissing technique because it doesn't get cluttered with shallow comments, but when I'm visiting other blogs and places on the web looking for french kissing technique stuff it seems to be everywhere.

Well, good luck with your website goals. I wish you the best.
